Want Justice League Unlimited #24? Check with your comic shop before October 5 ↗

Have your eye on a particular cover? Lunar Distribution lists October 5 as the retailer final-order cutoff for Justice League Unlimited #24, with an October 28 in-store date. Ask your shop about its customer deadline, which may be earlier, so it has time to include your request.
The issue is written by Mark Waid and Nicole Maines, with art and the main cover by Dan Mora. This is the current DC comic, separate from the animated series’ original tie-in. The cutoff is a shop-ordering deadline, not the release date or a guarantee that copies will sell out.
Report: Lanterns assembles writers for a possible second season ↗

Could John Stewart have another season ahead? Nexus Point News reports that writers including Christopher Cantwell and Zack Whedon are working on a possible second season of Lanterns under Chris Mundy.
The staffing report has not been independently confirmed by JLU. As of our October 3 check, we found no official HBO renewal announcement; a writers’ room does not guarantee another season.

Mattel’s first DC Collector reveal is coming October 8 ↗

Mattel collectors have a date to circle. DC’s September announcement schedules the first DC Collector item reveal for October 8 at noon ET at New York Comic Con, with preorders on Mattel Creations immediately afterward. The line is scheduled to launch globally on January 1, 2027.
For anyone with a shelf full of Mattel’s animated heroes, that’s worth a look. The announcement doesn’t identify the first item or confirm a return of the original JLU figure line.
